These multi-purpose stadiums will be used as a utility for sports, disaster shelters and field hospitals. This project cost is worth Rs 693.35 crores. It was known that the Odisha government was the sponsor for both India Men’s and Women’s hockey teams. For the development of hockey, the Odisha government is constructing the world’s largest hockey stadium and it is planning to conduct the Hockey World cup there.
