PM Modi called on CMs

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the Chief Ministers of Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Puducherry to review the Covid situation in their states. Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh are among the ten states with 74.69 per cent of the total active cases in the country. Rajasthan had 2,08,698 active cases, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 1,77,643 cases and Chhattisgarh with 1,10,401 cases.

According to the Union Health Ministry, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are among the ten states where 74.7 percent of new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, 13,575 new cases were reported in Rajasthan and 12,513 in UP. There were 149 deaths in Rajasthan and 281 in UP. The Union Health Ministry said on Sunday a total of 3,11,170 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours across the country and 3,62,437 people were cured.

Yesterday, Union Health Minister Harsha Vardha interacted virtually with the health ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and UP. And reviewed the covid situation and the vaccination drive in the states.
