Indian Prime Minister Narendra lauded the passion, courage, and determination shown by the Indian Olympics contingent in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Mr Modi said that winning and losing is part and parcel of life, but Indian athletes have challenged their higher-ranked opponents with self-confidence.
Mr Modi said that the self-confidence of every Indian player was visible in this Olympics. He also said that this self-confidence will appear when the right talent is identified and encouraged.
The PM said our country has sent the largest contingent to the Olympics despite battling with the pandemic. And also stated that Indian athletes have qualified for the first time in many games and given a tough fight to opponents.
Well, Mr Modi will invite and personally meet the entire Indian Olympics contingent at Red Fort on 15th August. And he will also interact with each one of them.
