World No 1 Pramod Bhagat has won the gold for India in the Paralympics. Pramod has defeated Great Britain’s Daniel Bethell with 21-14, 21-17 in the Para-Badminton Men’s Singles SL3 Final. It’s a second gold medal for the day after Manish Narwal’s gold in the Mixed 50m Pistol SH1 Final.
In the Bronze medal match, India’s Manoj Sarkar beats Japan’s Daisuke Fujihara with 22-20, 21-13. It’s the 17th medal for India at Tokyo Paralympics. Today, India has won four medals including two gold, a silver, and a bronze.
India has clinched four gold medals in total, which is the highest and best in both Olympics and Paralympics. Still, more medals to come, today.
