PV Sindhu, Satish Kumar advance to quarterfinals in Tokyo Olympics

It is a great day for team India on the seventh day of the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Ace shuttler PV Sindhu advanced into the quarter-finals by defeating Denmark’s Mia Blichfeldt with 21-15, 21-13.

In the superheavyweight category, debutant Satish Kumar progresses into the quarter-finals of boxing(Round of 16-Men’s +91KG) with a 4:1 win over Jamaica’s Ricardo Brown.  

Indian Hockey team entered into the quarter-finals by defeating Argentina 3-1. In the 2016 Olympics, Argentina won the Gold medal.  

In Archery also, India has registered a great win and advances into pre-quarters. Atanu Das defeated two-time Olympic Champion Oh Jin-Hyek of South Korea in a thriller.

So far, Lovlina Borgohain, Pooja Rani, Satish Kumar are one win away from winning an Olympic medal in Tokyo2020 in Boxing.
