After the Indian Medical Association, it’s now the turn of the Delhi Medical Association to go against Baba Ramdev, who last month made anti-Allopathic statements and made insensitive comments on the ability of modern doctors to treat coronavirus.
The DMA today filed a suit in the Delhi High Court, seeking to restrain the Yoga exponent from disseminating false statements. The Association also wants Patanjali to stop making false claims about the efficacy of Coronil.
The Association opined that Ramdev’s statements are bringing disrepute to both science and doctors. The matter has been listed for July 13 before the Court.
It seems, sooner or later, Ramdev will have to retract his comments and apologize to the medical fraternity.
