The Supreme Court has given key orders in the case of MP Raghuram Krishnam Raju. The Supreme Court directed to set up a board with three doctors at the Secunderabad Army Hospital and conduct medical tests for MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju.
It was ordered to videograph the medical examination and submit the report in a sealed cover. It advised to conduct medical examinations under the supervision of a judicial officer. The bench directed the Telangana High Court to appoint a judicial officer. The SC also advised continuing Y category security for Raghuramakrishnam Raju. The Supreme Court has directed to consider the period during which medical examinations are conducted to MP as judicial custody.
The apex court also directed the AP chief secretary to comply with the orders. The bench adjourned the case till May 21. MP Raghuramakrishnam Raju will be shifted to Secunderabad Army Hospital today on Supreme Court orders.
