Test specialist Hanuma Vihari has played in three county championship matches in England during the IPL in India. He also has a good understanding of the current climatic conditions in England. He also spoke about how would be the performance of the Indian team in the Test series against England as well as the World Test Championship against Newzealand.
He made it clear that the ball would swing in case the weather was cloudy and should be very careful in the selection of shots at this time. The weather conditions here play an important role in our performance. The batting would become easier if the weather is hot. But if it is cloudy the ball will swing all day.
“I had the same problem when I arrived here in April. It has become a challenge to play Duke balls. There should be accuracy in the shot selection when playing on England pitches unlike in India, ”said Vihari.
On the other hand, at the end of the county season, he recalled that he had done service programs for the Covid victims in Andhra and Telangana states with the help of his wife and friends. Vihari said their volunteer group used social media to donate plasma to many people as well as to meet their oxygen and ventilator needs.
