Recently, AP CID officials arrested Raghuram under the sections IPC 120B( Punishment of Criminal conspiracy with others), 124A( making defamatory remarks), 153A(inciting hatred among others), and 505(personal abuse).  Despite the notice given under these sections, the police said Raghuramaju did not agree to take or sign the notice and that his wife Ramadevi also refused to take the notice. However, they posted it on the wall of the house. The notice states that the Mangalagiri CID police have registered a case (12/2021) against him.
