Tamil Nadu goes for a complete lockdown

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin after reviewing the Corona situation in the state with officials have announced a complete 14-day lockdown.  Due to the rise in covid cases, TN CM came to the conclusion after discussions with officials that lockdown is the only option to prevent spreading this dreadful virus further

 While governments in some states are imposing night curfews and weekend lock-downs, this move from Stalin is invited by the Tamil Nadu people. And it is known that India is suffering mainly due to a lack of a proper primary health care system. There is inadequate oxygen supply, medicines and vaccines. Due to the rise of cases, extra pressure is mounting on doctors who have been relentlessly working to save lives.

 In south India, except for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the remaining states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka have imposed a complete lockdown. The Tamil government has announced that it will impose a full lockdown from 10 to 24 this month. In Karnataka, the lockdown was imposed from the 10th to the 24th. The Kerala government has announced a lockdown from today to the 16th of this month.
