Telangana CM KCR held a review meeting on heavy rains in the state

Telangana Chief Minister KCR held a review meeting from Delhi on the heavy rains in the state. The Chief Minister who spoke to CS Somesh Kumar issued several orders. In the wake of the rains, he ordered the entire government authorities, collectors should be vigilant. He ordered to take relief measures from time to time in flood-prone areas. He said to be watchful from time to time on electricity, roads and canals.

The CM directed the Municipal, Panchayati Raj and electrical staff to be alerted. He is also said to the officials that the people who live in the hinterland do not face troubles due to heavy rains. He said the employees of the respective departments should be stay alert so as not to cause inconvenience to the people.

He also ordered the officials to prepare NDRF disaster management forces to rescue those trapped in the floods. CM KCR issued orders to evacuate people from inland areas to rehabilitation centres.
