The opening burden lies on these two Indian young lads against New Zealand

For every match, openers play a key role. The performance of the openers’ decide the future course of the team whether they’ve to attack or defend the bowler.

If openers played well, it is very easy for the rest of the batsmen especially in Test cricket to propel the scoreboard. Otherwise, the entire team will be in defence.

In the Test series against New Zealand, in absence of experienced players Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul, this responsibility is on the shoulders of young lads Mayank Agarwal and Shubhman Gill.

These both are going to open the innings for team India against New Zealand in the two-match Test series. In one down, Pujara followed by Rahane, Iyer, and Saha.

The first Test match between India and New Zealand will be played on 25th November, Kanpur, UP.
