Theatres will be allowed with 50% occupancy in Telugu states!

The second wave is gradually subsiding in the country. The daily cases have been registering less than one lakh. Slowly, the Chief Ministers of their respective states have started the unlocking process.

In Telangana, the relaxation period has extended till 5 PM whereas in Andhra Pradesh curfew timings were till 2 PM. Due to lockdown, the entertainment business was affected a lot. Many shootings and releases have been stalled.

As situations in Telugu states have been improving, on the other hand, film shootings have been slowly starting too. Already, Maestro film shoot has started in Hyderabad.

As per the info, theatres will be allowed in Telugu states with 50% occupancy. Small to medium budget films are gearing up to hit the box office either in the last week of July or in August.

The big films like Acharya, Akhanda, Radhe Shyam, KGF-2, Pushpa, and RRR will hit the theatres only when the state governments permit 100% occupancy. If it allows, Acharya is expected to be the first biggie to release.

In Tollywood, Love Story will be the first film to release if a lockdown ends.
