This may be the last match both Kohli, Dhoni will play as Captains in IPL 2021

The sports analysts and many IPL fans have been describing today’s clash between Kohli and MS Dhoni as the battle between ‘Fire and Ice’. Some termed it as the war between The Captain and The Mentor.  This epic clash will be played at Sharjah Cricket ground.

According to the sports analysts, this match will be the last one that King Kohli and Captain MS Dhoni will be played against each other as IPL skippers. Already, Virat Kohli has made it clear that he won’t captain RCB in the coming IPL seasons and is assured to continue as the RCB player until he retires.

Recently, he announced to step down as T20 Captain for team India after the ICC T20 WC 2021.  Coming to MSD, he may continue as a Captain for one more season. But as captains, it is their last clash in the Indian Premier League.

For today’s match, CSK will be unchanged and it continues the team that defeated Mumbai Indians in the last match. RCB is also likely to be continued with the same team.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore team which has lost badly to KKR in the last has keen to bounce back in today’s game. RCB has lost to CSK by 69 runs in the last encounter. With both bat and ball, Jadeja has rattled RCB. He made unbeaten 62 runs in 28 balls and took 3 wickets for just giving away 13 runs. in four overs.

A total of 27 matches have been played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. CSK won 17 games whereas RBC won 9.  There was an interesting fact that CSK lost all 3 games last year at Sharjah. But now the team is in outstanding form this season.

Virat Kohli needs 66 runs more to become the first Indian batsman to complete 10,000 runs in T20 format.
