On a four day visit, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee leaves for the national capital Delhi. There she will meet President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Modi and the opposition parties’ leaders.
During her martyrs day speech, she wanted all opposition parties to be united to uproot BJP in the country. She also said that Modi and Shah have been strangling the democracy of every Indian by snooping into our phones using NSO’s Pegasus Spyware. She also accused the BJP government for misusing CBI, ED and other government institutions to threaten opposition parties and others whoever raise voice against them.
Didi is on a mission to Delhi to constitute a united front against the Modi government in 2024.
On the other hand, the Bengal government has constituted a commission to investigate snooping of phones in the state using NSO’s Pegasus spyware. The Commission comprises former Supreme Court judge Madan Lokur and former Calcutta High Court judge Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya.
