YS Jagan extends curfew in AP 

The Jagan government has decided to extend the existing curfew in Andhra Pradesh till the end of the month. The AP Cabinet sub-committee meeting is held today. After the discussions, the government has come up with this decision.

CM YS Jagan opined that Corona is not under the control, there should be a curfew for at least four weeks to get good results. Jagan directed the authorities to take steps to prevent an increase in cases in rural areas. The CM suggested that volunteers, Asha workers, make effective use of the secretariat administration.

 Jagan directed the authorities to take steps to support their children if anyone dies, especially due to Covid and also orders to frame the plan for the financial assistance of the children. This meeting has lasted for two hours.

In AP, in addition to cases, Covid deaths are also on the rise. In the past 24 hours, 18,561 new corona cases were reported in the state. With this, a total of 14,54,052 corona cases in the state, including cases registered today. Within 24 hours, 109 people had died with the corona. So far 9,481 people have died in the state. There are currently 2,11,554 active cases in the AP and 12,33,017 people recovered from the corona.
